Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visit to our office. Your health and well-being continue to be our high priority and we are ONLY opening because we have carefully planned and revised our office protocol to greatly minimize the risk of infection for our patients and our team members.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), THE U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevenion (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  We follow the activities of the agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.   We do this to make sure that our infection control rocedures are current and adhere to each agencies recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment.   We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.   For your piece of mind, the mesasures we will be taking to provide a safe dental treatment expereice include, but are not limited to, the following:Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.   That might mean that your offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting time for you as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
Our office will communiate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions.  You’ll be asked those same questions again when you arrive at the office.  Patients will be screened BEFORE entering the offie and temperatures will be checked.   And patients showing signs of a fever or any other symptoms of illness will be asked to reschedule their appointment.

All of our new patient forms, consent forms, and other documents will now be available online to complete prior to arriving to our office, in an effort to streamline the check-in process.

We ask that you call the office upon arrival to our building and remain in your car until your treatment chair is ready.  Should you need to enter our waiting area, we will have limited seating that will be spaced at least six feet apart in order to reduce the number of people in our reception and clinical area, we are asking that only one parent or guardian accompant patients to their appointment.

In accordance with recommendations for the CDC, you and your child (if over the age of 2) must wear a mask or a facial covering upon entering our office
We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.  You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
